District Nursing Services
Our District Nursing Services are dedicated to supporting student health and well-being so that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. District nurses work to promote and protect the health of students while identifying and addressing health-related barriers that may interfere with learning.
Through collaboration with students, families, school staff, healthcare providers, and community resources, district nurses help ensure students have the health support and resources they need to be successful at school. Our nurses bring knowledge and expertise in school health, wellness, and student needs to help create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students.
About Us
The Norris School District Nurses are California-licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) who hold a baccalaureate degree and a California School Nurse Services Credential. As members of a multidisciplinary team, our school nurses collaborate with students, families, educators, and other professionals to support the health, safety, and educational needs of all Norris School District students.
Through comprehensive school health services, nurses help promote student wellness, address health concerns, and reduce health-related barriers to learning—helping every student be healthy, supported, and ready to learn.
